· Drum roll please, it is official!! Our winning homeroom for our All School Fundraiser is Ms. Rarig’s homeroom!!! (Insert cheers here.) Eight students turned in fundraiser orders for a total gross sale of $1,530.00! Six of the eight qualified for the Limo Ride too! They will receive a hot cocoa and fresh baked cookie party in early November prepared and served personally by Mrs. Kelstrup. Ms. Rarig will also receive a plaque to keep in her room to proudly display that her homeroom is the Homeroom Fundraising Champions for 2009/10! CONGRATULATIONS! (Kelstrup, F)
· Special thanks to the students who did participate in our All School Fundraiser, while the number of students participating was down, the average sales was up! A big reason that Ridgetop is the special place that it is is because of the efforts of those special students. Thank you for your help-you really are AWESOME! Remember to mark your calendars; cookie dough delivery is November 19th. If you have four or less boxes you will take those home with you. Larger orders will need to be picked up by parents after school. (Kelstrup F)

· They may have looked sweet and pretty on Wednesday’s game day, but on the court the Lady Raider’s were bloodthirsty and merciless, beating on Sedgewick and winning all three matches! The ladies passing from Izzy Luchini and the rest of the team was right on target. Jenna Tippets was setting left and right to Gracellan Pajimula who took down several kills. Someone lit Tiffanii Ferrell on FIRE with hard hits, great passes and a crazy and intense at-the-net volley!
· The intensity continued for a close match to 3 games with JV. Taylor Carter had perfect sets. There was a slamming backrow kill from Taylor Whitehead. After almost two hours with both first games going to 27 then 30 points the knockout blow came from a rolling net pass from Tate Ichiki.
· Way

as the Lady Raiders clip their wings at 3 o’clock! (Stark F)

Students who are
being picked up by parents after school should go directly to the parking lot
and not stop to hang out and talk with friends. Many parents and
students are often forced to wait in long lines to get out of the parking lot
because one or two students haven’t yet shown up to be picked up. This is
part of being a Responsible Raider.

The Lady Raider’s
volleyball team travelled to Cedar Heights on Monday. It was a tough
fight and the Raider’s tried their best. Great setting from Jenna Tippets
and Hali Danna (rhymes with Hannah). Madi Grahn dug some great
hits. Hard hits came from Geena Hernandez and Karlea Garguile
(gar-jewel). The JV team sought revenge
for the varsity and annihilated the Cedar JV. Great serves were smashed
over the net from Taylor Whitehead and Kikki Gaulden. Amazing hustle and
hits came from the Bitty Baum aka Emily Baumgartner. Nice job
ladies. If you haven’t seen them yet,
today is your chance. Marcus Whitman is here to face the Lady Raider’s on
the court at 3pm. Be here! Support your team!” (Stark, W)
